We learn something new in every game, or as a friend of ours used to say, "We RE-learn something old." Here we'll discuss our camps and try to recap any lessons taught by the best teacher: experience. We'll also acknowledge especially good efforts.

Notes from 5/1 Game

Run Out Everything!
We could have had a couple more hits during last night's game but our batters didn't run full speed to first base. On both occasions our batters thought the ball they hit was an easy out, but the fielder bobbled it. Because we didn't run full speed, the fielder still had time to make the play.

General Tips

In this area we'll include a list of general tips. We'll add to this list as the camp goes on. For example:

Always back up
No matter where a ball is hit, you should be moving somewhere. Even if the ball is not hit towards you, you should be moving to a position in case of an error or overthrow.
